Cosmology - understanding the universe we live in

Matt Dobbs

In this talk I'll cover basic cosmology concepts and describe the Cosmic Microwave Background Radiation, which is the "left-over light" from the big bang. Measurements of this light will unlock a wealth of information about the composition origin, and fate of the universe. I'll describe a series of bold new experiments being constructed today to make better measurements of this light. They have the potential to revolutionarize our understanding of the universe we live in.
