Coupled minimal models irrationally revisited

Antonio Antunes

École Normale Paris

2d CFTs play a privileged role in the space of QFTs as they provide myriads of examples of exactly solvable interacting models. On the other hand, compact irrational CFTs with minimal chiral symmetry are expected to be chaotic, not exactly solvable and “generic”. Yet, as of today, no sharp construction of such theories exists. In this talk, I will discuss recent progress in constructing such ldquo;generic” models as IR fixed points of coupled minimal models. We will analyse the absence of additional currents, study the spectrum and understand the global symmetries of these CFTs.
