Subject: use of laptops

Hello everyone,
About 1/2 of the people giving talks at the PPD session got back to me
about the type of projection they needed. I can already tell you that a
"universal" solution is not possible because of the variety of laptops:
MAC/PC/Windows and media devices people want to use: CD/diskette/memory
stick. I will ask instead that all participants before their session or
during the coffee breaks check that the projection works with their
laptops.
There are a few things that can be done to make life easier:
There are many UofT people on Mon pm. William will try to collect all of
their talks on his laptop. Janis and Chris Hearty both have Mac's. Maybe
you might want to put both talks on a same computer.
I'll contact the remaining partcipants tomorrow and let them know.
  cheers, Manuella
P.S. There will be internet access at UPEI. All computer labs will be made
available to the CAP participants.
