Dear Speaker,

I am organising the Particle Physics Division
(PPD) parallel sesssions for the CAP meeting
being held in Winnipeg in June this year.

..

Unfortunately the CAP can't provide support to
attend the meeting or even a registration waiver,
so I hope your project's travel funds will cover
your expenses to attend this meeting.

It is time to register for the conference
and provide a title and abstract for your talk.
The CAP has setup a website where they are
collecting this information to go into the
programme. Please fill out the forms at:

http://www.cap.ca/congress/2004/submission-inv.html

The deadline for the submission of contributed
abstracts is March 1, but the hope is that we
will have all the invited abstracts by February 1.

I have been warned by my predecessors that the
CAP is notorious for absorbing this information
and not releasing it to the session organisers
until the 11th hour. I would very much appreciate
it if you could email me a copy of your title and
abstract directly. I will try to put together a
'shadow' website as the programme grows.

Please confirm that you are able to attend this
meeting and send me your abstract by the end of
the month. I will get my draft programme put together
.. Then I can keep an
eye on the CAP 'automated' system to make sure
not too much gets lost in the translation.

Thanks for agreeing to give this talk. I look
forward to an interesting set of parallel sessions
in Winnipeg in June.
