I'm part of the High Energy Theory Group at the Physics Department of McGill University. If you are wondering whether I am interested in advising new M.Sc. or Ph.D. students, the answer is that good students are always welcome (subject to availability of funds)! Note: I cannot accept students directly; please apply to our graduate program at http://www.physics.mcgill.ca/grads/application.html.

My bag

My research focuses on the particle physics/cosmology interface. Recent interests include flavor nonuniversality in B meson decays, dark matter (DM) model-building, non-MSSM DM scenarios, direct detection of DM, and aspects of possible DM annihilation in the galaxy. I am also interested in models of electroweak baryogenesis or scenarios that strengthen the electroweak phase transition. In the past I have worked on brane-antibrane and other inflation models from string theory, the search for novel features in the inflation power spectrum, indicating possible signals of new physics in the CMB, and implications of the string theory landscape for the cosmological constant problem. Here is my publication list, at SLAC's high energy physics database inSPIRE.
