Young Planetary Systems and the processes that shape them

Brad Hansen

The recent rapid observational progress in studying planetary systems around other stars has led to an appreciation of the fact that young planetary systems are much more dynamic than we used to think. I will describe some processes likely to be important in young planetary systems and how they might determine the final configurations we see.
