Cliff Burgess McGill Brane-world scenarios make it quite likely that gravity has preferred-frame effects which do not arise for any other interactions. The very weak coupling of the graviton to other particles has made these effects notoriously hard to constrain, although some bounds do exist. In this talk I will describe new bounds which arise due to quantum effects communicating gravitational preferred-frame effects to other particles.
