Marc Grisaru McGill Recently, following a conjecture put forward by Dijkgraaf and Vafa, suggested by string theory and matrix models, for the computation of the glueball in SSYM, there has been a flurry of activity applying the procedure to a variety of models. We have shown that the conjecture is indeed valid and the result is a consequence of applying conventional QFT ideas to the problem. The proof uses superspace techniques which I will attempt to explain.
