Comparisons of Exact to Approximate Next-to-Next-to-Leading
Order Corrections

For processes involving structure functions and/or fragmenation functions,but
not jets,arguments are given that,at not too small values of a proper
kinematic variable,there is a part dominating the NNLO QCD corrections.The
arguments are tested against complete calculations. The case of jets is
briefly discussed. A case when these arguments may not be useful is also
mentioned.
