New Methods for Obtaining CP-Violating Phases from B Decays

David London

Université de Montréal

Within the standard model, CP violation is due to a nonzero phase in the quark mixing matrix. This explanation can be tested by measuring CP-violating processes in B decays. In this talk I describe two new techniques for making such measurements. In both methods, the theoretical uncertainty is small, about 10%.
