The Color Glass Condensate and RHIC data

Raju Venugopalan

BNL

We discuss applications of the Color Glass Condensate to high energy heavy ion collisions. In particular, we discuss the emerging picture, of the matter formed in heavy ion collisions, obtained from confronting theoretical models to the recent data from Au-Au and D-Au collisions at RHIC.
