We have been talking about nuclear liquid-gas phase transition and critical behavior in heavy-ion collision for decades. However, since only the accessible system in laboratory are finite nuclei, there are various features which are ambiguous and show difference between experimental results and the equilibrium thermodynamics. Some of these features will be discussed using a simple canonical ensemble model of multifragmentation.
