Stringy Dark Energy, Primordial Inflation
and the Cosmic Coincidence Problem

Our universe seems to be just entering a phase of acceleration, perhaps indicative of an ev-mev scale of physics. In this paper we suggest an alternative mechanism where the current acceleration is not due to new physics at ev scale but because of interactions between the dark components. In this model we also show how one may be able to explain the large hierarchy between the mass scale of current acceleration and the Planck mass, by relating it to another `large' parameter, the number of efoldings during primordial inflation.
