Localization and holography in N=2 gauge theories

We address the question whether localization in 4d gauge theories on S⁴ explains the vacuum selection in the holographic realizations of these theories. Specifically, we compare exact results from Pestun's localization of SU(N) N=2^* gauge theory on S⁴ with available holographic models.
