Quantization and Mirror Symmetry

Sergei Gukov

Caltech

In this talk, mainly based on arXiv:1011.2218v1, I will explain how the long-standing problem of quantization of a symplectic manifold can be approached with the techniques developed in the study of mirror symmetry. In particular, we shall see how the quantization problem of a symplectic manifold can be reformulated in terms of A-model of a different (!) symplectic manifold, or B-model of its mirror. If time permits, I will illustrate the general approach with interesting and delicate examples.
