Brane inflation à la KKLT: a review and WMAP3 outlook

Larissa Lorenz

McGill University

In this talk, I will discuss the pure KKLT model of brane—anti-brane inflation with respect to both its conventional slow-roll and its intrinsic stringy features. An analysis of stochastic effects in the model is presented as well as possible restrictions to its parameter space. We are currently working on the interpretation of the results of a detailed MCMC comparison to the WMAP3 data.
