A Hologram of QCD

Takemichi Okui

Johns Hopkins University & University of Maryland

Recently, it has been shown that a simple field theory on AdS5 can reproduce many data of 4d QCD. I will examine this mapping between QCD and its higher dimensional “dual” theory by taking QCD in two dimensions which was analytically solved at the leading order in 1/N, and constructing a 3d “hologram” of it.
