Experimental HEP SeminarATLAS Higgs Searches Beyond the Standard ModelChris PotterMcGillDiscovering the mechanism of electroweak symmetry breaking is one of primary goals of the Large Hadron Collider. Nature has hinted that the Standard Model (SM) cannot account for phenomena, and new models Beyond the SM (BSM) have been developed to address the shortcomings of the SM. After reviewing the current state of BSM Higgs searches at the Tevatron, I describe the prospects for BSM Higgs searches at the ATLAS experiment.
