Flows involving Lifshitz spacetimes

In holography, domain wall like solutions interpolating between different maximally symmetric solutions are interpreted as renormalization group flows between the corresponding conformal field theories. They provide a useful simple probe of the duality. I will discuss such solutions interpolating between Lifshitz and AdS geometries, both in a simple massive vector model and in a realisation of Lifshitz in string theory, and show how this can give us some insight into the field theories dual to the Lifshitz geometries.
