Holography at finite cutoff with a T² deformation

I will review the TT deformation in 2D quantum field theory and its application to AdS/CFT. I will then present a generalization for higher-dimensional large-N CFTs and show that it matches semiclassical gravity in AdS with a finite radial cutoff. The connection to dynamical membranes and the prospects for finite N will also be briefly discussed.
