The structure of correlation functions in single field inflation

Sarah Shandera

Perimeter Institute for Theoretical Physics

Observational constraints on the statistics of inflationary fluctuations beyond the power spectrum have the potential to discriminate between qualitatively different early universe physics. However, to make the best use of future data we must understand how to look for deviations from Gaussianity in model-independent ways. In this talk I will discuss some very general results on correlation functions in single field inflation and the implications for current and future observations.
