Real-Time Techniques for Thermal QCD

The talk will cover analytical and numerical techniques for the investigation of time dependent quantities in thermal QCD. These techniques will be exemplified by the calculation of the quarkonium potential in perturbation theory and a measurement of the heavy quark diffusion constant in semi-classical lattice simulations.
