On Phase Transitions in Classically Scale Invariant Models

Ville Vaskonen

King's College London

Within classically scale invariant models, the spontaneous breaking of scale invariance is usually associated to a strong first order phase transition. In this talk I will describe this phase transition and the resulting gravitational wave signal, showing that the future gravitational wave observatories can probe large parts of the parameter space of these models. Moreover, I will discuss the generation of magnetic fields and baryon asymmetry in this phase transition.
