Classical Simulations of Quantum Fields

I will present and discuss the extraction of quantum loop-effects from real-time simulations of φ4 theory in d=1+1. These ideas might be extended to more realistic systems, such as φ4 or SU(2) in d=3+1. In comparison to standard lattice simulations this approach is a few orders of magnitude faster and offers the possibility of studying dynamical physics as opposed to static thermodynamic quantities.
