RECAST - A framework for extending the impact of existing analyses

Searches for new physics by experimental collaborations represent a significant investment in time and resources. Often these searches are sensitive to a broader class of models than they were originally designed to test. In this talk, I will describe a technique that allows for the 'recasting' of existing analyses to test alternative models. This can be done without the release of data or code. I will describe the conceptual design of the framework and present recent progress on the development of its front-end.
