Partition Functions of 3D Pure Gravity

The three dimensional pure quantum gravity has been conjectured to be dual to a holomorphically factorized extremal conformal field theory (ECFT). We compute the partition function of the dual CFT on a general Riemann surface by summing over gravitational instantons, and conjecture exact expressions for the contributions from handlebodies.
