The data analysis part of the system reconstructs the trajectories of the particles in the chamber using the data from the acquisition system. It uses the method of triangulation to find the intersection point of three circles. Each circle is centered at the audio transducer position and its radius is the travelling time, converted into distance, of the sound wave, as you can see in figure 1.

The output of the program is shown in figure 2. The three planes are represented, which gives us a top, bottom and face view. We can then know exactly where the particle went through and with what angle it hit the plates. Also, we can use this device to d etermine the speed of sound into the helium gas.
