Increasing the value of H for different anisotropies

a=1.8, C1=0.12 Sphero-scale=128

These examples use the values of alpha, C1, H obtained in Gagnon, Lovejoy and Schertzer 2003 for the earth's topography rendered using ray tracing. The values C1, alpha seems to be very robust - even down from planetary scales to 40m, whereas the value of H seemed to depend on continents (H=0.45) or oceans (H=0.75), hence the two column here. The data were analyzed isotropically (i.e. they "washed out" most of the anisotropy) so that the different geomorphologies presumably correspond to different G matrices. Here we show two examples.
